Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting by working as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she worked at WCBD as a morning anchor and crime reporter. O'Dell's reporting on the lax police response to DUI cases in Charleston caused an investigation being conducted by the State Law Enforcement Division, which led to a change in policy from state officials regarding DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell won an award for the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell was a reporter and anchor for a time at Charleston as a reporter and co-anchor for NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station before moving into Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent during weekends. O'Dell is a leading anchor for Access Hollywood. In addition she has contributed in NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She has co-hosted a variety of Pre-ShowArrivals programs for The Emmys as well as The Golden Globe Awards. The host of the Miss USA Pageant and Miss Universe.
